The show will be based in recession-hit Chicago and it is thought that William H. Macy will take on the role as head of the Gallagher family. The UK version has aired for six successful seasons and season seven is in production. Let’s just hope this is better than the American versions of “Coupling” and “Men Behaving Badly”.
