Reasons for Theron unattaching herself from the project are unknown. The movie, a remake of 2005 French film “Tourist” in which a tourist is hired by the police to entrap a former lover, still has Sam Worthington attached to the lead male role and it is still hoped that filming will start in the second quarter of 2010.

The movie follows the quest of Perseus who must save Princess Andromeda by defeating The Kraken Monster and Medusa. Here’s a few photos that have released by Warner (click on photo for full size):
