Marshall has previously directed Dog Soldiers and The Descent in the genre, both of which went on to make substantial profits for it’s investors.

The first movie that will be filmed is a remake of the 2007 Danish film “The Substitute” where kids at a school believe their substitute teacher is an alien. So far, little is known about the remake other than the main crew members:

Writers: Scott Derrickson and Paul Harris Boardman

Producers: Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert

The first “Spooky Pictures” movie is due for release in 2011.  More details on the company and “The Substitute” will be posted when known.
