“Due Date” casting news

Following on from our previous casting news for this movie here, it has been announced that RZA will be joining the cast of Todd Phillips’ 2010 comedy. The film will also star Michelle Monaghan, Robert Downey Jr., Jamie Foxx and Zach Galifianakis and is about a man trying to get back to his hometown so he can be at his wife’s side as she gives birth. Unfortunately things go a bit wrong on the journey back and if he doesn’t get to the hospital quickly, he might lose his woman to another man…

Jamie Foxx joins the “Due Date” cast

2010 sees new Todd Phillips comedy Due Date come to our screens and it has added Jamie Foxx to an already impressive cast. He joins Michelle Monaghan, Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis in the movie about a man trying to get back to his hometown so he can be at his wife’s side as she gives birth. Sherlock Holmes 2 now in development

It was made clear today by various magazines and newspapers that industry insiders have leaked information regarding a sequel to Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes which isn’t even released until the tail-end of December. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Guy Ritchie will direct with Robert Downey Jr reprising his role as Sherlock Holmes. The real news though, is that Brad Pitt is rumoured to be taking on the role of Moriarty. The first draft of the screenplay is being written by husband and wife team Kieren and Michele Mulroney who have previously written screenplays for Paper Man and the unworked/in-development hell Justice League movie.
