Dark Horse Comics have today announced that Joss Whedon will write another season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer comics after the current 40 issue Season 8 ends. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of Dark Horse’s top selling series and follows the tales of Buffy Summers who was chosen to hunt vampires, demons and the forces of darkness when she was just 16. Originally made popular by a seven season TV show starring Sarah Michelle Gellar between 1997 and 2003, it looks as though Dark Horse has managed to please the strong and loyal fanbase the last few years through comics.
