It appears writer/director Marc Vorlander has secured $25million in funding with his script for a sequel to the Paul Verhoeven movie, “Showgirls”. “Showgirls: Story of Hope” will center around Rena Riffel’s character Hope from the first film and her brother who comes to find out who is responsible for the death of a stripper after she takes contaminated cocaine.
