BBC unveil new “Doctor Who” logo

The BBC have today unveiled the new “Doctor Who” logo which will accompany series 5 when it airs in the Spring. Of course, the logo isn’t the biggest change coming in series 5 as we also get a new doctor, Matt Smith who takes over from David Tennant.

I like the text part of the new logo a little. I agree that the TARDIS is TOO FREAKIN' Big. I think the McCoy logo was my fave, before that it was the second T. Baker logo which became the Davison logo.

My favorite Doctor Who logos would be the ones of Tom Baker's (4th Doctor) and Sylvester McCoy's (7th Doctor). There is a list here

I like the new logo, but I will miss the old one. As far as the new doctor goes... I am not happy with Tennant leaving, but I wasn't happy when Eccleston left either, but I quickly changed my opinion on that.

That "DW" logo is hideous. Okay, I'm not a fan of the series but, come on now, that's just terrible. They couldn't have designed something better than that?

Personally, I prefer the older one, though the new one is more fitting to the show. They need to downsize the tardis a little though. It's to big compared to the rest of the logo IMO.

I actually wasn't too fond of the previous logo. The new one I like.

I dig the new logo. Just still a little unsure if I will dig the new Doctor. Hate to see Tennant leaving.
